The Board of School Trustees of Monroe County Community School Corporation is requesting proposals for the following:
GIS and Demographic Consulting Services for K-12 Attendance Zone Redistricting
Background of MCCSC:
The Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) serves nearly 11,000 students from diverse populations in 23 schools in Monroe County, Indiana. MCCSC is a leader in STEM and EARTH curricula, encompasses a Performing Arts Academy, International Baccalaureate schools, Dual Immersion programs, multiple Career Pathways, a Career Center, as well as numerous College Credit opportunities to prepare students towards college and career readiness. Services to be Performed:
MCCSC is seeking proposals from demographic consultants and companies to study the re-districting of MCCSC’s catchment/attendance zones. Interested applicants should have experienced knowledge of K-12 boundary redistricting, demographic/census data, and be able to provide a minimum of each of the following items in the proposal:

All responses to the Request for Proposals will be accepted in-person during regular business hours at the MCCSC Administration Center, ATTN Karen Butcher, 315 E North Drive, Bloomington, IN 47401, or via email to Karen Butcher at kbutcher@mccsc.edu, until the hour of 4:00 PM (Bloomington, IN time), April 12, 2024. Mailed proposals must be received at the above address by the same deadline. Responses to the Request for Proposal received after this date and time will be rejected.
Proposals will be reviewed with candidate/company credentials, experience, education, and financial costs considered in the selection process.
The MCCSC Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in part or in whole, and to waive any minor irregularities as it deems to be in the Corporation’s best interest.
