  • Fourth 6-Week Grading Period Ends February 16

    Report cards will go home with students from 7th period on Friday, Feb. 23.

  • National Junior Honor Society

    NJHS invitations were distributed to students the week of February 5 and 12. Both new and returning students must return the bottom portion of the invitation to the office by February 23 to be eligible for membership.

  • ISTEP Testing Dates are February 26 - March 9

    Please note extension of dates. Attendance during ISTEP testing dates is very important. On February 26, 28, and March 2, 6, 8 only periods 1, 3, 5, 7 will meet. On February 27 and March 1, 5, 7, 9 only periods 2, 4, 5, 6 will meet. Class periods will be lengthened to accommodate testing. Students will be testing during their Math and English/Language Arts class periods. Please refrain from scheduling routine doctor or dentist appointments during this time.

  • Safe Sitter Course February 27, 28 & March 1

    Tri-North students will be prepared to be safe when watching younger siblings, babysitting, or while home alone. IU Health will teach safety, first aid, child care, and business skills. The class is fun, FREE and snacks are provided. Class meets from 3:15 - 5 pm and you must attend all 3 days. Register with Ms. Hawkins to reserve your spot.

  • Get Involved in the PTO

    Our Parent Teacher Organization invites all current 6th and 7th grade parents to the next PTO meeting on Wednesday, March 7, from 6-7 pm in the Tri-North Auditorium. For details email trinorthparentteacherorg@gmail.com. Like their Facebook page for updates!

  • Get Ready for Track & Field Season

    Optional workouts will be March 5 & 7, and practices begin immediately after Spring Break. Sign up in the office now and pick up a flyer of dates. You must have a current completed sports physical packet on file in the office to participate.

    If students will be absent 2 or more days before or after Spring Break for travel or family events, please see Mrs. Wimmer in the Attendance Office ASAP pick up a Parent Pre-arranged Absence form (PPA).

  • 6th Grade Open House & Welcome March 21

    Tri-North's Annual 6th Grade Welcome Night will be Wednesday, March 21, from 6-8 pm. 6th grade students and their parents/guardians are invited to join us for an opportunity to meet staff and tour our school.

  • Global Youth Service Day is April 20

    Global Youth Service Day is an opportunity for students to be a part of a worldwide movement to give back to their communities through a variety of volunteer activities. All 8th graders are invited to apply to participate in GYSD 2018. Students do not need to be members of Y.E.S. Club to participate. Accepted students will be required to attend an after school meetings and will spend Friday, April 20, in the community working with various service organizations. Pick up an application in the office and return it by March 2.

  • Trojan Season Sports Passes Now Available

    Planning on attending several home athletic events? Season sports passes are a great bargain! Adult passes are $30 and student passes are $15. Both are good for all non-tournament home athletic events this academic year.

  • School & Athletic Team Pictures

    Students that had their school or athletic team pictures taken receive their proofs or photo orders 1-2 weeks later. If you didn't order and would still like to, order online at www.Kirkwoodphoto.com.

  • Be Ready for Athletics in 2018-2019

    Interested in participating in Athletics? Each year students need a completed sports physical packet on file in the office before the first practice, workout, or open gym. An exam completed April 1, 2018 or after is in effect through the following academic year. Current 7th graders that participated in athletics last school year will need another current physical for their 8th grade year. Sports packets will be available in the office or from the Athletics tab above after Spring Break 2018. Please use our forms; doctors do not have all the necessary forms. Sports offered are Cheer, Volleyball, Cross Country, and Football in the Fall; Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, and Swimming/Diving in the Winter; and Track & Field in the Spring.
