MCCSC Ranks Among Top 20 Best School Districts in Indiana

(Bloomington, IN) -- The Monroe County Community School District (MCCSC) recently earned its place in the top 20 ranking for “2020 Best Schools in America Rankings and Grades” by Niche.

Niche is a data aggregation website which uses the most up-to-date data available from dozens of public data sources including the Department of Education, U.S. Census, and FBI.

MCCSC claimed its spot at #17 with an overall grade of “A”. The website had this to say about MCCSC,

“Monroe County Community School Corporation is a highly rated, public school district located in Bloomington, IN. It has 11,122 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. According to state test scores, 65% of students are at least proficient in math and 73% in reading.”
