At WonderCamp we encourage courageous experimentation, use actual scientific terms and tools, introduce kids to working scientists, and help kids embrace failure as part of learning. All camp sessions are designed to build curious and creative problem solvers, inspired by the wonder of science. We listen – to the kids, their adults, teachers, and visiting scientists – and intentionally make our camps more robust and exciting each year.
WonderCamp weekly sessions are held during selected weeks in June and July. All camps are a full day format, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with complimentary extended care available from 8:00 – 9:00 am and from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.
All camps involve extensive hands-on activities. These typically are structured so that campers work together in small groups, rotate among science activity stations, or collaborate on special projects that are completed by the end of the week. Selected camps may take field trips.
Members will be able to register at midnight on March 1st. Open registration begins at midnight on March 8th.
