MCCSC Excels in Bloomington Playwright Project’s Mini-Play Competition

Before Winter Break, many classes throughout the district wrote and submitted mini-plays to the Bloomington Playwright Project’s Mini-Play Competition. Students wrote creative, five to ten minute plays to submit. The topic of this year’s competition was, “Sci-Fi,” and each student was expected to incorporate this theme into his or her play when crafting settings, characters, and storylines or plots.Awards were given for the top three plays at the primary, elementary, and middle school levels, and finalists were awarded in many divisions as well.  Congratulations to the winners and finalitsts!
