Grandview Elementary Awarded STEAM 3D Printer for Excellence in STEM
Grandview Elementary was recently visited by a team from 1st Maker Space and awarded one of their state-of-the-art STEAM 3D printers. Principal Lisa Roberts and her staff were given a two-hour training on how to use and maintain the printer and taught several education techniques on how to implement the printing into content areas. The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) 3D printer adds the art element to traditional STEM topics. The 3D printer will be housed in Grandview's recently finished STEM Room, a room fully dedicated to STEM activity.
