MCCSC Earns 2014 "A" Rating

MCCSC Earns “A” Rating from Indiana Department of Education

Third Year in a Row

For the third straight year, the Monroe County Community School Corporation is proud to announce that it has earned an “A” rating from the Indiana Department of Education as approved by the State Board of Education.

At the elementary and middle school levels, the scores are based on the spring 2014 ISTEP+, IMAST< and ISTAR results. The score may be raised or lowered based on the students’ academic growth. At the high school level, the scores are based on the results of the sophomore cohort group on the English 10 End-of-Course Assessment, the Algebra I End-of-Course Assessment, the graduation rate, and College and Career Readiness. The scores can also be raised or lowered based on students’ progress from the 8th grade to the 10th grade and from the 10th grade to the 12th grade.

We are proud of the achievement of our students and thank our parents and community for their continued support and our teachers and administrators for their dedication and persistent efforts for the students of MCCSC.
