Unionville Elementary Announces EARTH Curriculum Focus
Unionville Elementary Announces EARTH Curriculum Focus
Unionville Elementary Principal Lily Albright announced at the April MCCSC Board of School Trustees meeting a new curriculum initiative called EARTH (Environment, Art, Resources, Technology, and Health). With the success of initiatives like STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), Principal Albright wanted to find a way to incorporate the environment, natural resources, and health into their curriculum. Unionville sits on 18 beautiful acres in northeast Monroe County, so she had to look no further than the school's backyard. We are excited to follow this program as it unfolds during the 2017-2018 school year!
