The North Star is (re)born
After a few year absence, our journalism students are bringing back the student news website. Formerly known as Fused, we are rebranding to The North Star after BHSN's original school newspaper. The site can be found at: https://bhsnnorthstarnews.com/
The Journalism class, as well as other interested students, will be providing student produced content for a student audience. Not only will there be articles and photos, the students are currently working on some video productions, a podcast, and other multimedia content. Junior Raegan Deckard is serving as the Editor-in-Chief of The North Star news site.
Students interested in producing content that are not in any of the Student Media classes should talk with Mr. Cockrum in Room 709 to get involved.
Are you a Bloomington North graduate who currently has a child attending North? We want to hear from you. Our Yearbook staff is working on a project to connect our present with our past and we want to talk to parents that graduated from BHSN who now have students at BHSN. Please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/6FPaNSnTSFa6H8n59 to let us know more about you. We will be working on this project throughout the year so we may not get back with you right away. If you have any questions or problems with the form, please contact Yearbook Adviser Troy Cockrum at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are a small number of extra yearbooks remaining. They are being sold for $65 on a first come first served basis. If you would like to purchase one, please see Mr. Cockrum in room 709, or come in and ask at the front office. If you pre-ordered and did not receive your yearbook, also stop in to room 709 and see Mr. Cockrum or email email@example.com.
