Engage. Empower. Educate.

  • Hoosier Hills Career Center Students and Families-

We are all eager to get back to school, hear sounds of student learning, and see the incredible things made at Hoosier Hills Career Center. Until we are able to be back together in our classrooms and labspaces, we will use the paper packets that were given out during class on March 12th. Additionally, we are using the Canvas online learning platform found on www.mccsc.edu. Each of you will find readings, videos, assignments, and/or quizzes placed there by your teachers with the goals of moving the curriculum forward. Please make sure that you log onto the Canvas platform daily to stay current with requirements for your course. If you have issues with access or materials, please feel free to email your teachers or HHCC administrators, Mrs. McBride (cmcbride@mccsc.edu) or Dr. Pillar (dpillar@mccsc.edu). We are happy to help or get you connected with someone that can. This is also a great time to review scholarship opportunities that are listed on the webpage. Mrs. Smith (asmith@mccsc.edu) can help answer questions with those.

The multiple school corporations we serve have different days of eLearning, meal pick-up, and other resources offered. Please check each individual school website for more information on specifics. Just know that we will have Canvas information posted at the beginning of each week during the entire time we are out of school.

We look forward to seeing you back as soon as possible. Until then, work hard, take care of yourselves, and stay safe. We miss you!

  • Welcome to Hoosier Hills!

At Hoosier Hills Career Center, we offer courses in 19 career pathways as part of our students' high school curricula. Our courses range from Agriculture, Auto Service and Collision, to Fire Science, Health Science and Pre-Engineering, all of which are listed by the Indiana Department of Education as part of its Career Pathway Initiative. Program content is updated regularly through the use of local advisory committees, whose membership includes dedicated professionals from the region working in the various occupational fields. These partnerships ensure that our programs are reflective of employment needs in the communities we serve.

Hoosier Hills Career Center is designed to meet a variety of future plans as we follow the mission of preparing students for college, careers, and beyond. Our students may certainly choose to enter the workforce directly as a result of their training. We also have a growing number of our graduates attend two and four year universities, taking with them multiple dual credits earned completely free while attending the career center. We care about the future of our students and continue to strive to bring the best opportunities to them each and every day.
