• ABOUT THE PTO

    As a parent or guardian of a Marlin student(s), you are a member of the Marlin Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! Make the most of your student’s academic career at Marlin by supporting and participating in our school community. 

     

    The Marlin PTO mission is to support our teachers, staff, and students by providing funds and materials that will broaden the educational experience of each Marlin student. Fundraisers are an important aspect of meeting our mission. Money raised through the PTO supports:

    • Our Students 

      • Project-based learning (PBL) initiatives, testing/event snacks, field trips, new educational technology, playground equipment, library books, and more.

    • Our Teachers & Staff

      • Appreciation days, special project mini-grants, classroom supplies and materials, and more.

    • Our Marlin Community

      • Spring Carnival community event, Disc golf course, Dragon Den construction, and more.

    Whether you have a lot or a little time to give, there are always opportunities for parent involvement and support of our Marlin school community! The best way to stay informed is to attend monthly PTO meetings. We discuss issues that concern parents, hear reports from the principal and a teacher representative, and support fundraising activities to enrich education.

    • Attend a PTO meeting; help or lead a committee.

    • Order dinner out on a Dine-and-Donate night.

    • Show-off your Marlin pride with Marlin spirit apparel.

    • Select Marlin School PTO as your shopping charity recipient!

      • The PTO receives funding through these active reward programs: Amazon Smile, Kroger Community Rewards, and Box Tops for Education. Learn more.

    • Run a Carnival game (Spring).

    • Supervise a game at Field Day (Spring).

    AY 2022/2023 Marlin PTO monthly meeting dates:
    We meet on Wednesday evenings, starting at 6:00pm, in the school library. Childcare provided.
