Grandview Elementary School, one of fourteen elementary schools in the Monroe County Community School Corporation, is located at 2300 South Endwright Road, Bloomington Indiana. Grandview is adjacent to Karst Farm Park, just outside the city limits of Bloomington. The original Grandview Elementary School on Highway 45 was built in 1953 and served students until 1998. It was demolished in February, 2004. The “new” Grandview Elementary is housed in a beautiful building completed and occupied at the beginning of the 1998-1999 school year. Grandview serves over 450 students in grades Pre-K through 6. In 2016, Grandview was named Monroe County's first Certified S.T.E.M. School by the Indiana Department of Education.
