Our primary goal is to expose students to organic gardening and healthy nutrition. A school garden would provide weekly enrichment activities for students, whole group instruction in nutrition and wellness, a living resource for science and art classes, a respite for students seeking a quiet place to learn and read, and rejuvenation for teachers and staff that have a passion for gardening. The legacy part of our garden is to have a place to honor retiring staff and students for their contributions to the school community by adding benches and other commemorative items to the legacy gardens.
