Questions For Health and Safety

  • Question: What are we doing about the safety of Teachers and Kids in the school and classrooms? Are we planning on rearming the SROs? How do you feel that disarming the SROs will help in case there is a Uvalde like incident?

    Question: Why do our SRO’s remain unarmed? Why did the board come to this decision without data from our state, national data is not a good reflection of schools in Indiana? Did they also weight the fact that you cannot properly quantify the amount of incidents that were prevented by armed SROs seeing as It is difficult if not impossible to collect data on something that didn’t occur?
