    In response to parent feedback concerning the return to school for the 2020-2021 school year, MCCSC will begin offering a completely online learning opportunity as well as in-person schooling.  Feedback from the spring has been used to redesign and enhance the instruction that will be offered in the Online Academy. 

    VISION

    To provide world-class, standards-based, grade-level appropriate, and flexible digital learning experiences through the combination of high quality instruction, rich curricula, interactive (K-8), and dynamic lessons.

    MISSION

    We will provide world-class, high-quality, personalized instruction to our students using a blended instructional model of digital learning experiences.

    GUIDING PRINCIPLES

    We will provide:

    Equity of access and opportunity for all students as a key principle of this academy

    Personalized instruction and support for every student

    Highly engaging and challenging curriculum

    Project-Based Learning (PBL), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) as a focus

    GOAL

    To provide a safe, interactive (K-8), high quality, K-12 digital learning experience for students that choose not to return to our school buildings for the 2020-2021 school year due to COVID-19.

    • Student is Still Enrolled at their Home School
    • Live Instruction & Interaction with Teachers Daily
    • Personalized Learning Plans for Each Student

    • Students May Participate in Clubs/Sports Online or at their Neighborhood/Home School

    • Students Should Be Able to Participate with Minimal Parent Participation
    • Special Education, ENL, & 504 Accommodations Will Be Provided as Needed

    Schedules for high school students are based on the individual courses selected by your student last spring with their school counselor.
