The ACLU National Advocacy Institute is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2020 High School Program for students ages 15-18. We hope you can help us spread the word and share this information with your students and colleagues.
Developed in partnership with the Close Up Foundation, this week-long summer program (Wednesday, July 22 – Tuesday, July 28, 2020) in Washington, DC, is designed to engage high school students to hone their advocacy skills and passion for social justice! To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the ACLU, this summer’s program will also feature a special, one-day event and Gala with past and present ACLU leadership, as well as special guest speakers from the public sector and other nonprofit organizations!
To learn more about the program, eligibility, and financial aid, please encourage students to visit the institute website or click here to download a program overview. The application can be found here and is due February 16, 2020 for Priority Decision. Full scholarships are available for students who qualify.
Would you or your colleagues like to recommend any passionate youth activists from your school? If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at 703.706.3555 or institute@aclu.org.
Best,
Heather
