Mrs. Deppe is the P.E. teacher at Summit Elementary. 

Mrs. Deppe grew up in Spencer, Indiana. She began at Summit Elementary in 2017 and is excited to be working with amazing teachers, staff and families. She received her B.S. in Physical Education from Indiana State University in 2000 and an Early Childhood Associate Credential from Ivy Tech in 2006. During her career she has worked as a high school P.E. teacher, Preschool teacher, Reading interventionist and elementary P.E./Health teacher.

Mrs. Deppe and her husband have two children Luke, 10 and Aidan, 15. She enjoys hiking, concerts, watching her boys sporting events and traveling.
Mrs. Deppe and her family enjoy cruising in their classic 1968 Mercury Cougar to car shows.

Mrs. Deppe believes that Physical Education for children is Vital. It prepares children to be physically and mentally active, fit and healthy for life. A healthy body equals a healthy mind.
