Ms. York is a sixth grade teacher at Summit Elementary. 

Born and raised in Bloomington I am thrilled to be teaching 6^th Grade at Summit Elementary. After attending IU I lived on the East Coast for a few years and then returned to Bloomington. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, making jewelry, gardening, reading, and exercising. I am always on the lookout for a good book series and love historical fiction.

The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling contains one of my favorite stories from childhood, “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi.” This is a story about a brave mongoose and the family he loves and protects.
