All MCCSC preschool programs use the Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards for young children. The Foundations are aligned with the Indiana Academic Standards for kindergarten in a developmentally-appropriate way and reflect the types of experiences and interactions early learners need in order to be ready to transition to kindergarten. Many of our Early Learning programs are Level 3 Paths to Quality. MCCSC is committed to education at every age.
We offer a wide range of preschool options for ages 6 weeks old through age 5 spread throughout the district at the following elementary schools and centers: Arlington Heights, Binford, Childs, Clear Creek, Early Learning Center, Fairview, Grandview, Highland Park, Hoosier Hills Childcare Center, Lakeview, Summit, and Templeton, Unionville, and University.
MCCSC Early Learning programs focus on education and kindergarten preparedness in a structured and interactive learning environment. Our classrooms teach early skills in the development of literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts through play-based projects and social development.

    Hoosier Hills Childcare Center

Hoosier Hills Childcare Center serves children ages 6 weeks – 5 years of age and is a Level 3 Paths to Quality preschool. The licensed childcare facility is open to the public and is located within the Hoosier Hills Career Center. These plans are based on the IAEYC Foundations and developmentally appropriate practices. All staff is required to have 20 hours of professional development each year to stay on top of the current early childhood trends and provide the best possible environment for the children.
