Welcome Letter 2020-2021 School Year
I want to be the first to welcome all of you to another great year at Binford Elementary School. I am excited and proud to help lead and guide all of our future and current Badgers this upcoming school year. This 2020-21 school year will be an exciting and special year for all of our students. We are going to put a huge emphasis on stressing the importance of living the values of our Life-Skills and PBIS School Wide Essential Agreements of Being Safe, Being Respectful, Being Responsible, as well as developing students into lifelong learners. We know that this year ended in an unusual way and we are so proud of all the hard work that our students put forth in transitioning to remote learning. We hope that we are all able to be together in the fall.
If your family has not already registered online through the MCCSC website please do that as soon as possible so that we can ensure that we have accurate numbers for the start of the school year. Please make sure the registration is filled out in its entirety, as there are important forms that all students need for the upcoming school year like the field trip permission, and video/photography consent, etc. If you experiencing difficulty filling out the form online please stop by our office when it opens and we can assist you.
I am excited to be able to announce that Binford and Rogers will continue to have Spanish as a class this year for their students! This will be an exciting opportunity for our students, as we become globally minded citizens, to learn and understand the language, culture, and customs of other countries.
As the summer planning continues for reopening our schools, I will continue to update this website regularly and through parent communication via email and social media in order to continue to keep all our families informed about the latest developments from our school corporation. Parents remember that due to our social distancing and Covid-19 re-entry changes Binford clubs will have to be modified for the following school year. Changes on these clubs will be made public soon to families.
