Leaves
My part of the plant is the leaf. The leaf is a very important part of the plant. Leaves help carry on photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the procedure of food making. Leaves have different parts. They are the blades, veins, the broad leaf, and the petiole. In the fall (as you know) leaves change colors. How do they change colors? In the winter, as the weather gets colder and dryer, the chlorophyll (which is what makes the leaves green) leaves the leaves. There are many parts in the inside of the leaf: the upper epidermis, the palisade layer, the spongy layer, the veins, and the lower epidermis. As you can see, the leaf is a very interesting part if the plant.
