All about the cell
Did you know that a plant couldn’t live without cells? Cells are the most important part of a plant because if a plant doesn’t have cells it would die. When we get a bad cut our cells try to fight off germs and if we don’t have cells we can die. The tough outer covering of a cell is the Cell Wall .A thin layer that surrounds all cells is the cell Membrane, it allows liquid to pass in and out of the cell.
Do you know what the center of a cell is? The center of a cell is the nucleus and it is important in the cells activities and reproduction. The large storage area that holds food and substances is the vacuole. Water and dissolved materials are stored in the vacuole. A vacuole is like our stomach.
Do you know the function of the cell? The plant has to have cells or it would die. It would be like if we didn’t have a heart. The cell is the basic unit of all living things. The heart of a cell is the nucleus. If a cell didn’t have a nucleus it would die because the nucleus collects all the food so a cell can live. Cells are everywhere!!
