16^th Annual Adventure Camp 2008 @ Tri-North Middle School

2^nd Annual Ready Set Grow Adventure Camp 2008 @

Arlington, Childs and Clear Creek Schools

· The above camps will open on June 2 and run until July 25, 2008.

· Lunches will be provided for the Tri-North camp.

· Contact School Age Care office @ 330-7702 or stop by @ 501 E. North Dr. between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm for more information.

· Space is limited

· Applications for both camps are available in the SAC office.

· School Age Care will be open per usual for children already enrolled in the programs.

· Additional fee of $17.50 per child for early dismissal days. This fee will be due by the 10^th of May in addition to May fees.

Mission Statement

Our mission at the Monroe County Community School Corporation School Age Care program is to focus on the child in our care as the foundation for our existence.  We strive to provide our families with high quality care, affordable fees, and accessible locations convenient to their daily travel. We strive to provide our children with space for stimulating activities, with supervision provided by energetic, caring staff. We make a commitment to extend our services into the community as a progressive child care alternative, both now and in the future.

Admission

The School Age Care (SAC) program serves children who are residents of the Monroe County Community School (MCCSC) district.  The program welcomes all school-age children to participate.

Admission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Enrollment is satisfied when the enrollment form and a fee are received in the SAC office prior to entrance.  If a child cannot be admitted immediately because of full enrollment, she/he will be placed on a waiting list or, if desired, transferred to another program determined by MCCSC transportation routes and parent approval. 

The State of Indiana School-Age Child Care Rule encourages a ratio of 1 adult for every 20 children for grades 1 through 6.  MCCSC has chosen to maintain a maximum of 1 adult to every 15 enrolled children.  However, to better meet the needs of the children, the ratio is closer to 1 adult for every 10 children whenever possible.

Fees

The SAC salaries, supplies, and administrative expenses are supported entirely by parent fees and grant contracts.  MCCSC provides the space, utilities, custodial services, liability insurance, as in-kind donations to the SAC program.

REGISTRATION:	Family Fee: $30                                                           NON-REFUNDABLE                                                  $30 Preschool
BEFORE SCHOOL:	6:30am to the first bell Monday through Friday Full Time: $25 per child/per week Part Time: $7.50 per child/per morning
BEFORE PRE-SCHOOL CARE:	7:00am to the first bell Monday through Friday Full Time: $20 per child/per week Part Time: $6.50 per child/per day
AFTER SCHOOL CARE:	3:15pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday Full Time: $32.50 per child/ per week Part Time: $10.50 per child/per afternoon
AFTER PRE-SCHOOL CARE	3:15pm to 5:30pm Monday through Friday Full Time: $20 per child/ week Part Time: $6.50 per child/per day
READY, SET, GROW PRESCHOOL:	Full Time: $100 per child/per week Part Time: $75 per child/per week (Mon-Fri 8:45am-12:45pm or 11:15 am-3:15pm)
K-PLUS	$180 Monthly Due on the 10th of each month* *Checks MUST be made out to "Kindergarten Plus 07/08" and the child's name MUST appear in the memo Please mail to: SAC, 501 E. North Drive 47401
~OTHER FEES~
HALF-DAY:	$17.50* per child/per afternoon *These fees are not included in the fee chart. Please add to the monthly amount if your child is going to attend.
MAKE-UP DAY:	Regular program fees (see above) are charged. *These fees are not included in the fee chart. Please add to the monthly amount if your child is going to attend.
SNOW DAY:	Since payment is due by the 10th of each month, school may be canceled due to snow after your payment is received.  You are not charged for snow days.  A credit will be carried on your account, which can be applied to make-up days (see above).
DELAYS:	For children enrolled in the School Age Care Before or After School Programs, there is no additional charge.
