Adventure Camp is a MCCSC day camp run and developed by some of the same staff your child sees every day at    School Age Care!!  Adventure Camp  impacts your children multiple ways:

• Self-esteem and self-concept

• Knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes

• Behavior

• Physical, social, and spiritual growth

• Friendship

• Mentors

A Week in the Life of an Adventure Camper: 6:30AM to 6:00PM

Any school-age child living in the Monroe County area and entering grades K-7 may attend Adventure Camp. Several school/camp locations are chosen each summer. Families may choose any site and attend one week or every session. Each week is a different theme and all activities, trips and guest speakers build upon this theme.

Adventure Camp hours are 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Campers should wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes. Weather permitting, campers swim twice each week in area pools and lakes. Using MCCSC school buses, campers will take weekly theme-related field trips.
