No pre-registration is required for the FREE Adult Basic Education and GED preparation classes, and you may start any time once you have completed the orientation to assess your individual skill needs.

During the 3- to 4-hour orientation, you will be tested to find out what subjects you need to brush up on, so be prepared to stay the entire time. Our program is the only program in Indiana with a licensed school psychologist to help you with any special learning needs.
People age 19 and older*
use ABE classes to
  • Prepare for the GED test
  • Prepare for college and vocational admissions tests
  • Improve employment opportunities
  • Get individualized instruction with dedicated, state-licensed teachers
  • Help their children with homework and success in school

    (*Students 16-18 yrs. old have their classes at the TLC)

Classes: Mon-Thur, 9:00-Noon
New student orientation: Mondays, 9:00-Noon
