Celebrating Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. Birthday as a
The reason we celebrate Dr. King birthday
is that he wanted all of us to be free. He gave a powerful speech called” I
Have a Dream.” Dr. King was a person who wanted peace in the world. Martin was
a man that wanted the segregation laws to stop. He made it so blacks and whites
could go to the same school, share the same water fountain, and get to sit in
the front of the bus without getting arrested.
