MLK’s
sayings and doings
Martin Luther King Jr. said many things of importance. Here are
some examples; “You are as good as anyone.” “Everyone can be great.” “Hate
cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that.” “Love is the key to the problems
in the world.” “I have a dream that and little black girls will join hands with
little white boys and little white girls as sisters and brothers.” All of these
words came out of Dr. Martin Luther King’s mouth and every single one was
pretty much ignored because of the hatred and people who were disrespectful.
But, these phrases are now known around the world and brought whites and blacks
together. Now the world is filled with whites and blacks holding hands and
being friends.
One of the great doings of
Martin Luther King Jr. has to do with his daughter. Once, someone spit on MLK’s
daughter’s face, and instead of starting a fight or an argument, he just
peacefully wiped the spit off of her face, and walked away. Of course, everyone knows about Martin Luther
King Jr.’s big speech… “I have a dream.” The plot of MLK’s dream was that
people everywhere would learn to live together without being disrespectful to
one another.
Also, even through hardship,
Martin Luther King Jr. fought for what he thought was right. Now, everything is
great between whites and blacks. Although there is some segregation in other
states, other states celebrate the relationship that black people and white
people have together.
