Mr. Keefer’s Homework Information: Welcome to Homework Live™

Welcome to the Silver Team Language Arts Website

Our Classroom: Room C102 at Jackson Creek Middle School belongs to the Silver Team students. We call this room OUR classroom. Public education is designed to serve students by preparing them for life outside of the school walls. While it is my job to instruct and guide students, it is my students' job to fulfill their academic responsibilities. Together, we will create an effective learning environment in OUR classroom.

Language Arts: Language Arts classes focus on communication. Reading and writing are more important than ever in today's technologically advancing world. I like to incorporate the fantastic technical resources available at Jackson Creek into my Language Arts curriculum. A strong Language Arts skills base along with proficiency in computing and other means of communication will serve the middle school student well through high school and beyond. In our classroom, MCCSC and Indiana State Standards are adhered to strictly. There is a classroom management plan in place that allows students to learn in an organized and comfortable environment.

Mr. Keefer's Biography: I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and received my bachelors and masters degrees from Indiana University.
