Change your text
alignment.
Use the
mouse to highlight the text you want to realign.
From
the menu bar, choose Format > Paragraph.
From
the "Paragraph Properties" dialog box, choose "Left",
"Center" or "Right" from the "Paragraph
alignment" pull-down menu.
Change the look
of your font.
Use the
mouse to highlight the text you want to change.
On the
tool bar, click on the B button for bold, the I button for italic, or the U button for underline.
If you
change your mind, pressing the B, I, or U button again
will undo the formatting.
Choose a
different font.
Use the
mouse to highlight the text you are interested in.
On the
menu bar, click Format > Font.
Select
the Font tab (it may already be selected).
The
pull-down menu, which defaults to Times New Roman, lists other fonts from which
to choose.
You can
change the size and appearance of the font here as well.
Hint: Stay with Times New Roman, Courier, or Arial to insure the look of your page remains uniform regardless of the browser.
Create a bulleted
or numbered list.
Use the
mouse to highlight the text you are interested in.
On the
tool bar, click the upper-left drop-down menu (should have "Normal"
as default).
Choose
either "Bulleted list" or "Numbered list".
Choosing
"Normal" will change the formatting back to the default.
Paragraph
formatting can also be done using the Format > Bullets and Numbering
from the menu bar and choosing from among numerous list options in the
"List properties" dialog box.
