Using Microsoft PowerPoint

  1. Create Presentation as normal
  2. Under "File" choose "save as HTML"
  3. Follow the Wizard's steps for buttons, size, etc.
  4. Be Sure to upload the entire folder named


Using FrontPage Express

 

Open FrontPage Express.


Click on the Start button Programs

 

Orient yourself to the menus and buttons.

The user interface for FrontPage Express is similar to that of Microsoft Word. Toolbar buttons and menu bar options are similar to the ones in Word.

Open a File

If you are creating a new file, begin typing or pasting text into the blank document that appears on the screen. You may open a new blank document at any time by choosing File > New , and then selecting "Normal Page" in the box that appears.

To open an existing file or template, click File > Open and find the appropriate file you would like to open.

Adding text works just like a word processor. Simply type the text, the formatting can come later.

Save your work often

Save your work often so that if you make a mistake or your computer freezes, you can always go back to a previous version of your document.

*   Choose File > Save As from the menu bar.

*   Type in a page title (optional). This is different than the file name of your HTML document.

*   Click on the "As a File" button. !!! Important !!!

*   Choose a location to store your file on your computer.

*   Enter a file name for your document in the "File name:" text box. You should name your first page “index” in order for it to automatically open.

*   Click the "Save" button.
