COACHES

Volunteer Coaches—

Complete a Universal Precautions in-service each year of participation. Check website under “New Employees” for scheduled dates and times for those sessions held at the Administration Building. Or, contact the Athletic Office at your school for viewing the video.

Volunteer coaches, or those returning after one year of separation, must also pass a criminal history background check, requiring a $5.50 check or money order (made out to MCCSC) for processing through ChoicePoint

New Coaches—

Complete a “new coach” packet, which can be obtained from the Athletic Office or in the Administration Building, (need to include 2 forms of identification), attend a Universal Precautions in-service or proof of completion from another source and pass an expanded criminal history background check, through Safe Hiring Solutions. This will require a $28.00 check or money order (made out to MCCSC) for processing this report.

Check website, under “New Employees” to get the schedule of dates and times for the Universal Precautions in-service that is held at the Administration Building. Or contact the Athletic Office for viewing the video at the building. Each paid coach will sign a claim form to process payment.

Returning Coaches—

Must complete a Universal Precautions renewal in-service annually. Check website under “Returning Employees” for the schedule of dates and times from the Administration Building. Or, check with your Athletic Office for viewing of the video. Each paid coach will need to sign a claim form for processing payment.
