Everybody can be great, because
everybody can serve, and everybody can serve because
everybody has his or her own special talents. God gave
each and every single person in this world a special
gift, and that is their talent. We must not waste this
gift, so we must all go out into the world and help those
in need, and we will all get something in return
too
but it wont be material goods or anything
like that, but instead we will get a warm feeling inside
ourselves knowing that we helped someone in need. But right now, we must think globally, and act locally. There are people inside the city of Bloomington that need the help of others, perhaps because they cannot help themselves. Im sure we could all set aside an hour or two of our precious time to volunteer at the Community Kitchen, or somewhere of the sort. We can help a neighbor in need. We can help the church we go to when they are in a time of change, like First Presbyterian Church, for example. And by doing that, we will be great. We will be great, because we will have served. But we must not stop just because we served; we must keep serving, and for that, we will be great. |
