JENNIFER L. SNYDER
Research Specialist – Urban Entomology University of Arizona Department of Agriculture & Life Sciences Jennifer graduated from The Evergreen State College, Olympia, WA, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. For the following three and a half years she worked as a temporary/seasonal wildlife technician with university, federal and state government sponsored field research projects in ornithology and entomology. During this time she had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the best researchers in their fields. Jennifer’s interests in conservation and sustainability led her to work with Dr. Dawn Gouge, University of Arizona, where she contributes to extension work and research in Urban Integrated Pest Management. Jennifer also contributes to national implementation efforts of IPM in Schools, Monroe Model program. She supports Dr. Gouge in her research to explore the relationship between various bacteria and entomopathogenic nematodes, and the applicability of this symbiotic relationship to biocontrol efforts.
