Biographies of Women Mathematicians
These pages are part of an on-going project by
students in mathematics classes at Agnes Scott College, in
Atlanta, Georgia, to illustrate the numerous achievements of
women in the field of mathematics. There are biographical essays
or comments on most of the women mathematicians and some photos
(which look best at more than 256 colors).
Black Women in Mathematics
The purpose of this website is to exhibit the
accomplishments of the peoples of Africa and the African Diaspora
within the Mathematical Sciences.
Women of NASA: Profiles
The listing of women are categorized under areas
of work or education. Many women are listed multiple times as
their careers have progressed or span various areas.
Past Notable Women of Computing and Mathematics:
Honoring the close connection between mathematics
and computing, The Ada Project provides information on pioneers
in both areas.

This site has biographies of women who contributed
to our culture in many different ways, particularly in
