Designing Ideas
| Web Pages are designed in a tree pattern. Level one contains the index page or home page. This page is similiar to the table of contents of a book. Level Two is where the content is located. These pages are like the chapters of a book. Level Three also contains content information. These web pages are the pages of a book. |

The Web page should have a Header, Content Area, and Footer. The Header should contain the School's name, the title of the web page, and sometimes the author. Content information goes in the Content Area. The Footer includes links to the index page, main school web page, sometimes the name of the author of the web page, and the date that the web page was created or last updated. |

Suggestions
Audience- Every browser views a web page differently. Check the web page using different browsers.
Consistency-There are lots of web pages on the Web. Keep a general layout and design and use similiar fonts and background colors for each page in a web site. This will let the user know that all the pages belong in the web site.
Colors- Different system software and hardware can cause different color renditions. Stay with the basic colors and keep the page as simple as possible.
Size- Lots of images or large images increases the size of the file. Big files take longer to uploading. Use small images and use images that complement or enhance the web page.
