The Illustrated Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

The HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY is a humorous book about the misadventures of Arthur Dent. Dragged into space not two minutes after his house was demolished to make a bypass and not even four seconds before the Earth was destroyed to make way for a Hyperspace bypass, the only things he has to remember the Earth by are himself, his bathrobe, and some pocket fluff.
The ILLUSTRATED HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY is everything the title proclaims it to be; an illustrated version of the GUIDE.  However, the illustrations are not mere drawings; they are wonderfully rendered scenes of some of the most humorous parts of the book.  The large tome (large being surface area, not volume) has these simple illustrations on every page, and full page illustrations on perhaps one out of 6 pages. If you liked the original GUIDE, this book will be a scream.  And, after reading it, if you feel inclined to go out and buy it to permanently add it to your own collection, the price, I believe, is $42.00.  Coincidence?  I think not...
