This is my Golden Retriever Murphy! He is about 3 months old in this photo and about 30 pounds. In the larger picture he is 21 months old and weighs 92 pounds. |

I reside in Bloomington, Indiana and have been an art teacher in the Monroe County Community School Corporation for 30 years. I am currently teaching Career Education and Art classes at Batchelor Middle School. I have served as the Fine Arts Department Chair and Technology Coordinator at Bloomington South High School. I am a member of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA), the Midwest Region and the Central Indiana Division (CID) of the NMRA. I am currently serving as trainmaster for the CID. I started my Ellettsville Northern HO layout in 1990 and is approximately 15’x27’. My wife, dog Murphy and I certified pet partners with the Delta Society and visit nursing homes and hospitals to help brighten the lives of people who enjoy the companionship of the a dog. It is a very rewarding experience for all of us. |

His hobby is collecting rocks. I never said he was real smart. He loves to swim and play with his sister Market the cat. Murphy is certified by the Delta Society for animal assisted therapy and he visits people in hospitals and nursing homes. |
