Bravo Batchelor!A showcase of excellence at Batchelor Bravo Batchelor!

Recently, Batchelor Middle School’s esteemed Jeff Rudkin won the John and Marilyn Connelly Award. Named for former International Student Media Festival co-chairs, it is designed to honor educators of student media. This award is only given to exceptional individuals who have the ability to work with limited resources and still inspire masterpieces of student-produced media.

In October, a group of 31 B-TV students (pictured to the right)  visited  Anaheim, California  to present their winning projects, attend media workshops, tour the campus of Chapman University, and see the sights of Hollywood.  Before the students received their recognition, it was announced that Mr. Rudkin received the Connelly Award. This added greatly to an already enjoyable trip.

Mr. Rudkin will be invited to Los Angeles in the spring to receive a $25,000 check at a ceremony and conference with past Milken award winners.   Congratulations Mr. Rudkin!!
