Mr. White graduated from Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, then went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his Master’s degree in Secondary School Administration from Indiana University Southeast. He holds teaching licensure in K-12 Special Education, as well as U.S. History and Government/Sociology. His previous teaching experience includes one year in Special Education at Frankfort Middle School and seven years combined experience in Special Education and Social Studies at Orleans Jr./Sr. High School, where he also coached varsity baseball and JV boys basketball. He served the last four years as Principal at Medora Jr./Sr. High School and coached the varsity boys basketball team. Also, Mr. White received a Lilly Creative Teacher Fellowship in 2003 for developing classroom presentations of a confederate spy and an American revolution soldier. He grew up on the south side of Indianapolis. He and his family currently reside in Bedford. His wife, Tara, is the Art Director at Sunrise Greetings in Bloomington. He has three children, Lauren, age 9; Jackson, age 6; and Morgan, age 2. Mr. White’s personal message, “It is an honor to become a part of the Batchelor Family!
