Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

When Martin Luther King, Jr. was a boy he asked to play with his friend and his friend’s mom said, “No you can’t play with my son because you are black.”

This is one of Dr. King’s experiences that encouraged him to be a leader.  He wanted to show how all people are equal.

Created by third graders in Mrs. Ryan’s class.
