Make-up Work: A student is entitled to make up work for all excused absences provided he or she requests it during the class period after the absence. The student will log this request with Mr. Fisher. A student is entitled to make up all unexcused absences that are a part of the 10 absence total. The student will be given one day for each missed day to complete the assigned make-up work. Mr. Fisher reserves the right to give an alternative assignment to the one given in class. This will prevent possible integrity issues. After 10 full days of excused or unexcused absences, school personnel may refer the matter to the school social worker or Juvenile Probation for intervention. Students who are removed from class and sent to in-school, will receive a "0" for that day's assignment and will not be allowed to make the assignment up. Students who receive a "0" for an assignment, must still complete that assignment to gain access to the computer lab.
