Throughout the year we have people from all different careers come into our classroom to talk to us about their jobs.  Over the past few years we have listened to a judge, dentist, newspaper reporter, wildlife expert, police officer, doctor, and the mayor of Bloomington.

Sergeant Kelly speaks about the

exciting career as a Police Officer.

Laura Lane shares the interesting

topics that she gets to write about

for the Herald Times.

 

Dr. Fess is a hand specialist and she had

us do all sorts of tests with our hands

for strength and movement.

Notice the animal displays that Mr. Johnson brought in to observe.

 

Mr. Johnson works with Indiana wildlife. As you could expect we just had to have him come in to share his career since Animals was one of our science units.

 

Mayor Fernandez has come for the last couple of years to speak to our classroom. She shares all the responsibilities his has in running the town of Bloomington. Boy is he busy!
