Wilborn Hampton
Biographical Information:
Grew up in Dallas, Texas.
Graduated from University of Texas in Austin in the summer of 1963.
First job out of college was at UPI’s (United press International’s) Dallas office, as a reporter. And later as an editor for the
New York Times.
He answered the phone announcing that shots had been fired at the president’s motorcade.
