Paper- The Tonkin Snub-nosed monkey is one of the world's rarest animals. It has been critically endangered since 1996. They are critically endangered because so many people have been cutting down their habitat. More than 70% of their habitat has been lost since 1986. These monkeys are so important because their meat is used in medical products. That is also another reason why they are endangered. Also, we should save these animals because it is such a unique animal. The few people in their communities are not very well educated as to why the monkeys are endangered. If they could know about the reasons that the monkeys are endangered it would help raise the monkeys' population. We need to try and protect these monkeys because they add to the diversity of the eco system. Also, the animal that feeds on it will be left with no food to eat. This could put another animal in danger. We need to try and save all endangered animals because it adds to the diversity of the eco system. |
