When Cornwallis pulled out, Greene went to Ninety Six and put it under siege. Greene had to lift the siege because the British called for reinforcements.
The British let go of Ninety Six in July and headed for the coast. The southern Campaign was over and so was the British.
Four months later the British surrendered at Yorktown.
