The Stellar's Sea Lion is a beautiful animal that happens to be endangered. We need to project the helpless cute animal. Increased human actitivy around the shores is one main reason the Stellar's Sea Lion is endangered. When we have all this space on the Earth, why do we choose this area, where an endangered animal is suffering? The Stellar's Sea Lion lives along the Coastal waters of California. These animals do a great job of helping us maintain our fish and sea animal population. The Stellar's doesn't bother us, so why do we bother them?
Stellar's Sea Lions are beautiful animals,with adorable features. They have a brown coat that can differ in color shades. The Stellar's Sea Lion is known to be one of the bigger sea lions with a lenght of 12 feet and a weight of up to 1,200 pounds. In 1980 the population consisted of 300,000 thousands and has now dropped to somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 thousand. The Stellar's Sea Lion only reproduces one pup at a time so they don't reproduce very fast. We need to save this animal not only because it's beautiful and pretty to look at, but it needs our help.
It is important to save this animal, because all it does for us. Right now people are rasing money by web-sites to help, also the government is protecting the wilderness areas, but that's not enough.
