How often golden moles reproduce: Golden moles usually reproduce once a year. During the fall they have 1 or 2 babies.

The food eaten by golden moles: The golden mole eats any kind of insect, especially termites.

Where the golden mole lives: Golden moles live in the South Africa region.

Why is the golden mole endangered?: Golden moles are endangered because they are in high risk of being extinct.

Why are golden moles in high risk of extinction?: Golden moles are in high risk of being extinct because people are taking them to make fur coats and other goods. Builders are cutting down their habitats which leads to death, if the golden moles do not have a home to survive in. Dogs have been going into the woods eating the golden moles, also.

How many golden moles are left?: Although there has been no count of how many golden moles are left, there has been an 80% reduction of them because of pets such as dogs and deforestation.

What is being done to save the golden mole?: There has not been any specific groups out to help save golden moles. The forest should not be cut down and dogs shouldn't be let out in the woods.
