What Jaguars Eat
Jaguars are carnivores and efficient hunters
They eat some large mammals, small rodents, birds, amphibians and fish
They eat mammals like tapirs, monkeys, and deer
Where They Live
You can find the jaguars in South America in tropical forests, swamps and savannahs
They live in places with lots of grass and rockto hide when hunting or being hunted
They also need to have a reliable amount of water to survive
