Dr. Martin Luther King jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia
on January 15, 1929. His involvement in
the civil rights movement was started when he heard that Rosa Parks wouldn’t
give up her seat on a bus to a white person. He inspired many people of all
races and ethic groups to help in a peaceful protest. On August 29, 1963 he
made his most famous speech “I Have a Dream”. He made many speeches for his
“dream”. (Mostly for African-Americans) from this he was the youngest person to
receive the Nobel Piece Prize. Sadly he was assassinated on April 4 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee.
