I've decided to make this page because of the book The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm. I made this page so other people are able to know about where the book takes place, Zimbabwe. I also want people to learn about animals, plants, and important facts about Zimbabwe.
Some facts about Zimbabwe are...
The capital is Harare.
Population is 11,368,000.
The largest cities in Zimbabwe are Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, and
Chitungwiza.
Zimbabwe's Religion is Syncretic.
They speak English.
Zimbabwe's National Anthem is God bless Africa.
Their state flag has seven horizontal stripes green, yellow, red,
black, then red,yellow, and green.On the flag their is also a
golden bird sitting on a gold nest.
Some of Zimbabwe's holidays are New Year's day on January 1st . Independence Day on April 18, Workers day May 1st, Africa Day May 25,and Heroes Day August 11 to the 13. Christmas Day December 25 and Boxing day December 26. Some of these holidays we celebrate today in the united States.
